William Morris was a 19th century English painter, draftsman, architect, designer, writer and poet of Welsh origin. He was a leading member of the Arts & Crafts movement and his perspective on combining art and industry laid the foundations for the evolution of design. He actively promoted the joy of crafts and the beauty of nature. Morris’s characteristic patterns inspired by swirling vines, floral motifs and fancifully intertwined leaves can be found on wallpapers and fabrics, and now also on our porcelain products such as cups and mugs packed in attractive and aesthetic gift packaging.
The line is made of white porcelain, decorated inside with a floral ornament and a motif of small birds on a distinctive and intense red background. The elegant combination of warm beige and blood red gives the collection a unique character.
